Safari Overview

The cultural and gorilla Safari begins and ends in Rwanda. Visit Omwami palace in Nyanza and the hot spring of Rugarama just near Nyungwe National Park in the south western direction of Rwanda, this park is well known for chimpanzee trekking and many other primate species. Visit the Ross Carr’s orphanage which has many orphans. Have a chance to visit the Batwa people and enjoy their cultural interactions as well as performances. You will as well visit the three main towns of Gisenyi, Kibuye and Butare which have many tourist attractions as well as hotels. The main attraction here is the genocide memorial sites. Lastly, there is a special visit to Lake Kivu to enjoy a game trip which will be so rewarding.

Day 3: Enjoy primate tracking & Lake Kivu visit
Day 4: Explore Tour Ross Carr’s Orphanage
Day 5: Transfer to Ruhengeri
Day 6: Have a community walk and a visit to the batwa (Pygmies)
Day 7: Explore Karisoke Gorilla Research Centre
Day 8: Departure
